BIG StartUp Day 2025 Winners Raised Their First Investments

The service for legally ordering music in venues, Bit za Bid, has raised its first investment following the pitch session at BIG StartUp Day 2025, organized by the law firm BALAYAN GROUP. The startup received its first institutional investment from the venture fund brainbox_I in exchange for a 10% equity stake.

Bit za Bid was founded in 2023 by Nikita Pavlov and Mikhail Begichev. The platform allows venue guests to request music tracks through a bidding system: a user selects a track and offers an amount, after which the playback queue is formed on an auction basis, with higher bids receiving priority. The DJ sees the requests in the service interface and can either approve or reject a track; if rejected, the funds are automatically refunded to the user.

The project has already completed around 15 pilot launches in venues of various formats. In 2026, the team plans to scale the service and connect 182 venues across regional markets.

BIG Startup Day is BALAYAN GROUP’s annual pitch session, within which we select the best technology-driven startups across various industries, including AI-powered EdTech, Fintech, and others. I am very glad that our initiative provides such a boost to early-stage entrepreneurs and enables them to scale their projects,” comments Irina Avetisyan, Head of Venture Practice at BALAYAN GROUP.
