BALAYAN RUN at Legal Run 2025: gold medals, new record and inspiring leadership

The BALAYAN RUN team took part in the XII Legal Run 2025 Charity Run for Lawyers. BALAYAN GROUP employees were joined by business partners and clients of the firm, as well as law students from the best universities in Russia. BALAYAN GROUP Managing Partner Oksana Balayan's inspiring speech at the opening ceremony, gold medals in three age categories at once, and one of the biggest support groups made the BALAYAN RUN team the brightest part of the event.

"When you set a goal, focus on it, you don't just run towards your dream - you lead. Your inner energy is felt by clients, colleagues, and the whole world. Today we are one big team. Different firms, different practices, but we have one route and one common good goal", - these words of Oksana Balayan, founder and managing partner of BALAYAN GROUP, started the opening ceremony of the event. Oksana's performance on the main stage of Legal Run was not accidental: the running career of the managing partner of BALAYAN GROUP started with a 10 km distance at a charity race. Legal Run became the starting point of a series of six most prestigious international marathons in Berlin, Chicago, London, New York, Tokyo, Boston. Having successfully finished these distances, Oksana received the Six Star Finisher medal, which is the dream of every second marathoner in the world. This award was the basis for the exclusive design of the limited edition drop t-shirts that were presented during the race. 

The special guest of BALAYAN RUN was Yuri Strofilov, marathon record holder in Russia (2020) and world champion (2021). The professional athlete conducted a warm-up for our team before the start. 

According to the results of the race, the BALAYAN RUN team won three gold medals in different age categories. One of the team members set an absolute record for the 5 km distance with a time of 18:46. BALAYAN RUN was awarded a special prize as a team that managed to unite more than 20 participants.
